#1 security training school, The S2 Safety and Intelligence Institute for over half a decade.
At PSG we teach lessons, disciplines and tactics proven in the Security Industry.
Our program meets or exceeds the standards set by the State of Florida and
the Department of Agriculture Division of Licensing and Consumer Services.

Senior Firearms Instructor Kelly Flanagan
Florida 'D' and 'G' Class Instructor

Instructor Flanagan is the founder and President of PSG Security Academy. He brings over 32 years of combined Military, Private Security and Law Enforcement experience to PSG.
Instructor Flanagan retired from the Air Force after 20 years of service as a Shift Sergeant with the USAF Security Police. Some of his other qualifications included: Investigator, Patrolman, Firearms Instructor and Armorer just to name a few. He is a veteran of Operations: Desert Storm, Southern Watch and Iraqi Freedom and was awarded 17 Awards and Decorations to include three (3) Air Force Commendation Medals & an Air Force Achievement Medal and the Air Force Expert Rifle and Pistol awards.
In 2015, he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice with an Undergraduate Certificate in Homeland Security from Saint Leo University.

​​Instructor Flanagan is a Lifetime Member of the NRA,
a member of the International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association (ILEETA) and has been a Firearms Instructor since 1996. He is an NRA certified Law Enforcement & Security Handgun/Shotgun Instructor among 5 other instructor ratings.
He first became a Florida licensed 'D' and 'G' Officer in 1997 when he was hired as the Supervisor for the entire Hillsborough County for a local security company. He is licensed by the State of Florida as a 'K' and 'DI' Instructor and has taught over 6000 students in 5-years.

Investigator Flanagan is also a State of Florida certified
Private Investigator and the Sr. Investigator & CEO of
Peacekeeper Investigations and Consulting, LLC.

Do you have a Florida 'DI' license and live in the Tampa Bay area? Are you hard-charging, motivated Instructor who is willing to put in 10-hours a day for 4-days per week from Weds to Sat and be off from Sun-Tues every week? We are looking for a Retired or Former Law Enforcement Officer or Veteran with Military Police experience for our 'D' Course Instructor positron. If you're an ASP Baton or OC / Pepper Spray Instructor and can also teach handcuffing and legal aspects of restraint, you may be what we're looking for.
